"Last minute booking for 1 night, as got tickets to a gig at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Absolutely loved this hotel. Quirky, clean, comfortable and the little cocktail bar off the lobby is gorgeous. Staff all very friendly. The hotel was full, so parking wasn’t a bit of a pain. I wasn’t aware you can book parking at time of booking, so would recommend doing this. £15 a night from memory. "

"Great service from receptionist on arrival who guided re parking at another local hotel One negative was condition of plumbing as shower head fell into bath. Also dripping tap, into bath all night long! "

"Excellent staff. Beautiful room and hotel. Fitness center. Nice kitchen facilities in room well placed so didn’t feel like kitchen was in room— really well designed. Great bar and restaurant area. Easy walk to river Cambridge for walking/running. Easy walk to Cambridge city center. I will come back!"

"Overall the weekend was lovely. The staff are what made it. The main seating area is beautiful but can be draughty. The glass doors at the front door don’t really work and let a lot of cold in. The dining area is a bit of a disappointment atmosphere wise. The lighting too bright, the chairs are awful. It should be more like the red seating area which seemed to be kept for private functions. There’s a huge stove which was barely flickering, the music was also terrible. A lot of simple changes...

"We had an amazing stay in the Kingsbridge House. Gorgeous. Went for drink in the Bar stable and even went to see the Xmas winter lights trial. Lovely set up with outdoor bars/food fire pits/blankets and sofas. Such a lovely atmosphere. Nice late check out in morning plus a good breakfast too. Everyone so friendly. We will be back again. "

"A lovely convenient place to stay, but be prepared to open doors yourself while managing luggage. Great restaurants, but wait staff need a bit more training. (Knowledge of menu etc., and time management. Still my top choice of hotels for proximity and cleanliness! "
