We were never told we had to book a table nor were we informed there would be an event that evening allowing food only to be served in the bar area. "We had a terrific stay at the Bedford Lodge Hotel, it's a really beautiful property. The room was spacious and modern, with easy and lot's of parking. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and wasn't disappointed , great food and service. The breakfast was amazing, lot's of choice and lovely ingredients. "Rooms are a little 'tired' in need of a revamp, but was okay for an overnight stay. We didnt get to use all of the facilities on this visit (the pool/gym), so cannot comment on that. The room could've done with a better clean for sure, but I have stayed in a lot worse places, so overall 3 stars for cleanliness. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room are the nicest people I've come across on a business level in recent years and they're the reason for our repeat returns to this hotel...

"Lovely stay at Quy Mill. Really nice hotel. Loved the spa which was included, you just had to pay for treatments. Rooms were nice. We went with a standard double which was fine. Everything was clean but the shower could have done with a deep clean. Surprised that housekeeping came in when we were out even though we were only there for 2 nights. Food at the hotel was amazing. We ate at the Waterwheel restaurant, bar, and had breakfast and all were outstanding. Service was good when eating...

"Hotel was great, did not expect to pay for parking as it said parking and was not clear a charge for parking under the hotel on site. cost £15 for overnight, Dining room was good, had lunch and evening meal. We booked breakfast, a full English, but cooked a long time ahead, even though down for breakfast soon after opening time. Bacon hard and rubbery has was the eggs, not a very good breakfast and at the cost should have been fresh. Better to go to Sainsburys across the road for breakfast....

"My stay here was fantastic. It exceeded my expectations is pretty much every way, including luggage being taken up to my room so it was waiting for me when I was ready to check in. Breakfast was great and the wait wasnt very long at all for the meals being freshly cooked. The only downside was that the bed was hard as a rock, and i prefer a softer bed. I would recommend this hotel! "
