"We had a great stay. I was slightly concerned with a few negative reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious and clean, it would have been great if we had robes here so we could use for the pool area. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and a lively selection. The chef came out and spoke to us about dietary requirements, he said was so helpful and sweet. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Every single one! "Modern great value hotel in walking distance from centre of York. Parking is excellent. You pay £17 you can leave car there before check in and the whole next day even after checking out. Great flexibility on parking. Only gripes were that check in took 15 to 20 minutes. Also the bed in the room was so hard that i struggled to sleep. Much prefer a premiere inn bed. Shame had these two things been different it would have been 10 / 10. "
