"We came to Zermatt last year and wanted to stay at Hotel Alex but others in the group did not and we ended up staying elsewhree at a nice place with no restaurant or gym but near the Matterhorn Express lift. This year after a group trip fell through we decided to give the Hotel Alex a try. It a much better experience in Zermatt. "Good location with a good Spa facility including both steam room and dry sauna, pool was clean with a number of different water jets to soothe the sore muscles, along with an air jet bed. Room was good with a small locket/eating area that was equipped for short stays. There is a bar that has load music close by that could disturb your sleep if you don’t have ear plugs. It was load!! "
