"Just a 5 minute walk to the train station although they also have a small shuttle to pick you up or drop you off (which helps if you have much luggage). There is a grocery store just 2 minute walk as well and it’s about 10 minutes to old town area. The shuttle train to the viewpoint for the Matterhorn is just across the street from the train station. Accommodations, food, and staff were terrific."

"Stayed for two nights and needed to switch rooms after the first night because we stayed in an attic type room with low ceilings which was not for someone tall like myself. But they were very accommodating and helpful in moving our luggage to the new room when we were out visiting the Matterhorn. When booking the room, you are listed with them at a certain price, I needed to pay an upgrade fee to get a room on the higher floor with a view of the Matterhorn but it was worth it. "

"Love that this hotel has a laundry room. They charge a fee to the washer and dryer but it's still reasonable compared to the typical laundry fee per item. Location is close to the main station as well as the gornergret station making it pretty convenient. They are several shops as well as a supermarket nearby too. "I had a studio (north) room. It is spacious and bathroom is modern. The room has a balcony with mountain view. Full kitchen. Not far from train station but in a quiet area. Breakfast is excellent. Indoor pool is also a plus. Like the place very much."
