"We stayed at the Sea View room - the staff were lovely and service was good. However, the room itself really needs a face lift - the paint is flaking off all over the windows and some part of the ceiling, the carpet is old and fraying at the junction where it meets the wood floor and the towel rain in the bathroom is loose. Don’t get me wring, the room itself was clean, but it felt a bit unloved. Considering this was one of the more expensive rooms with twin tubs, I would have expected it to be...

"Lovely hotel in the high street. Looked very bright with the christmas lights and decorations. Staff were all nice and brekky was delish. The only thing I'd moan at is having to pay to stay in the hotel car park, ive never had to do that before!"

"I had a very warm welcome on arriving. Check was quick with nice staff. Bedroom was fine with ensuite shower room. It was quiet at night and I slept well. Breakfast was excellent well cooked and great value as it was included in the price of the room. Restaurant staff were very friendly and smiled which always nice and doesn't cost anyone anything, so well done 👍. I will come back.... "

"Beautiful place, beds very comfortable, our room was lovely. I booked in a hurry after a very long journey with a young baby and manager kindly made an exception as a one off which we were extremely grateful as didn’t know this wasn’t allowed. Breakfast was lovely and the young man serving was kind and attentive. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Super."

"The room was a fair size. It was rather hot but you can turn the radiator off. It is on a main road and there is a lot of traffic noise. But it is nice and clean and the staff are helpful. They did us bacon sandwiches to go instead of having to sit down for breakfast. "

"The spa facilities are excellent. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic We we disappointed with the evening meal in the bar. The food was expensive and not worth the money. My meal had bits missing and I had to request the missing items"
