"Great hotel centrally based easy access to main railway station 8mins walking approx. Nice functional room with work space and light. Tea & coffee in room was good. Breakfast, there was a good selection. I ordered evening meals in the bar and they were adequate however limited. My overall stay was very positive and I would recommend this hotel. One thing the hotel would benefit from is a water bottle refil system in a public area. "

"The hotel is well situated - close enough to be a short walk from the station but not too close! I’ve stayed before and have always found the staff very friendly and efficient and the hotel clean and tidy. First time I ate there this time a the food was also very nice."

"The hotel is very big, and some public rooms were quite chilly in the evening, including the restaurant; I had a superior king size room, the mattress was sprung and I could feel the springs; the service tray was very limited, with very cheap biscuits. The chilled water cans were very good. Breakfast was fairly good, but the pastries had run out by 9.15. "

"Very nice hotel, car parking is tricky to find if driving. The prices at the bar can be pricey and due to construction work there is scaffolding up. Staff are very professional and friendly. Great location."
