"Nice quiet hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of York. Lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel. Hotel parking and a public car park are a short walk away. Very friendly helpful reception staff, we arrived early, they held our luggage and transferred it to our room when it became available."

"Visited for a three-day business trip to York. Lovely hotel 3 or so miles from York City Centre. Room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is a little dated but again, spotlessly clean. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on all three days and whilst not the cheapest meals I have had in Hotel restaurants, the quality was very good. Service was excellent.
