"Its a bit dated but relatively good for a short stay. Doors are heavy and old so they do slam (you can hear guests coming in and out, but condition of soundproofing is decent. Could do a refurbishment considering the roundabout access to the hotel is also doing so. "

"this is an amazing hotel. the car parking is very convenient. both the breakfast and dinner in the hotel is great. the location is very convenient to go to the stirling castle. also, i really enjoyed the staff, they were very friendly and courteous. it's a bit of a walk to the wallace memorial, but well worth it if one is able to go on foot."

"Although next to the forth bridge be mindful that most rooms that look out over the bridge are noisy. We had to upgrade to a better room as we are both very light sleepers and the noise from the traffic over the bridge was too noisy for us. On the whole the hotel food was good. Staff were most helpful and the location good. We got the train into Edinburgh from Queensferry north which is a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. Train into Edinburgh takes around 25 minutes. We did have a bit of an issue with double payment being taken, but this was refunded as soon as we made the manager aware. Meal was nice and very well presented (though we were the only people eating so not much atmosphere). Staff all very professional and polite. Sure we will be back again at some point."
