"This was a terrific stay. We all loved it. Suites were large and minimalist but very tasteful, exceptionally comfortable with all technical amenities and private onsen in each suite. I would describe this as a luxury and modern take on the traditional Japanese inn (inn was built in 2020). Inn is about 7 minutes drive from the hopping ski town of Hirafu. "Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. Onsen pools were nice, especially the roof top one. We look forward to our next trip there"

Hot water in bathroom hot for a while, cold for a while, very unpredictable and made showering not pleasant at all, and this happens in all the shower room in the unit I stayed in. Many bugs in the room, most of it dead, looks like house keeping didn't see underneath the sofa chairs. "Wonderful place to stay. They picked us up from the bus station which is only 300 meters away but with the snow would have been hard to walk. The front desk were always friendly and helped when they could. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Both restaurants were great. With Sushi Shin unbelievable an experience to have. "

"The chalet is very spacious, bright, well maintained and fully equipped like a real home. All the utensil and cutlery in the kitchen are in very good condition. The beds are quite comfortable. There is only one thing I was not satisfied is there is no blackout curtains. Only blinds that block view but not light were installed. The sun rises near 4am in summer. I am a light sleeper and I would be awakened whenever the room began to turn brighter and ended up with insufficient sleep."
