"As with many places in this part of Niseko, it’s getting dated. They have done some upkeep inside at least. All the investment is over in Hirafu and Hanazono. That said, this side of town still has a lot of charm. The good backcountry skiing is over here too. I enjoyed the onsen. The food was also good, but started to get repetitive after day 2. "We stayed at the WE Toya as our home base for a Rusutsu ski trip. It was fabulous. The onsen was so lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. We never ate at the restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast buffet was super. The rooms are very large and the one time the onsen was closed for cleaning, we used the balcony tub and it was delightful. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This property is not far from the Annapuri Lifts and has regular shuttle busses heading to all the ski slopes! Also, the reason I chose it is the awesome onsen and large outside rotemburo! "Loved everything about the hotel and Niseko ski experience. My only suggestion is to add ski racks/tubes on the outside of the buses to make it much easier to transport back and forth to the ski area. Having your skis stacked on the front seats is inefficient and causes damage to the skis. It would be so much easier if there were racks on the outside of the buses. See Aspen or most US resorts for ideas/pictures"
