"I was almost hesitant to share my heavily experience. It was just too good. Almost unreal. Maybe I got lucky but there were almost no people. I was pretty much by myself in onsen. My first onsen time in Japan. This place is absolutely amazing! The best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed. The room is gorgeous, the food is delicious and onsen super relaxing. I don’t even know how can I live without it now. 5 star experience! Definitely will be coming back here. "

Pro: beautiful hotel, great views, good breakfast (didn’t eat dinner there as the menu is not to our liking) Con: as mentioned by other guests, the room is only suitable for couples. There is no hanging rack in the shower room so there is no way to dry and dress yourself without ‘exposing’ yourself. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamui as a couple. We rented the one bedroom apartment condo with kitchen, the room is very spacious and we were able to relax in the living room after snowboarding. The condo is 2-3 mins drive to Annupuri and 15-20 mins to Hirafu. Will definitely come back again in the future!"
