"A bit outside of the center of Grand Hirafu village but easily walkable. You have to go uphill a bit to get to the resort. The property itself is beautiful. Ideal for 6 or 7 guests (3 couples). Full kitchen but without salt/oil/spices so brine no your own if you plan to cook. Tsubara Tsubara right next door if you want amazing Japanese curry. Staff drive us back to the Chitose bus pickup on checkout. Would stay again if traveling with a small group. "

"The Rusutsu Resort Hotel is a well-oiled machine - all the staff are polite, helpful and they are used to moving lots of people at once. Rooms are clean and reasonably large for Japan. The rooms and facilities are dated; it feels very 90s. Main areas could use a refresh, especially the carpeting in the hallways. Expect to have to walk a lot to get anywhere: to your room, to the ski locker, to restaurants, to the ski hill. Could be really noisy depending on your room’s proximity to the elevators...

"What a great place to stay! Room was comfortable and cozy. Heating worked well. There is plenty of free parking. I was concerned about the shared bathroom, but it was kept very clean. "This was our third stay at Freedom Inn. We love the location within walking distance to the ski field but away from touristy Hirafu. They have a great pick up drop off shuttle service which can take you to dinner in either Hirafu or Kutchan. Try Kutchan for a more authentic japanese experience. You can even stop by an onsen on the way! There also is a free shuttle to/from the ski lifts. The rooms are very spaceous and there is an onsen/ouffro on site too. The photos don't really do this place...

"Loved staying at Milky house, would definitely stay again. It's a 10-minute walk to the Annupuri Gondola, had a cute little bar on-site for great apres drinks and a food cart that was there each evening. "We stayed one night at Yellow House Niseko, and that was enough for us. While the location was convenient for walking to local pubs and convenience stores, and the staff was very responsive—helping us arrange a private taxi from the airport—the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was the paper-thin walls. Our room had a sliding door that opened into the main lobby area, so we could hear everything—footsteps, conversations, and any movement from other guests. The shower had high water pressure, which was nice, but it was so loud that showering at night felt disruptive. On top of that, the towels provided were basically hand towels, which was far from ideal. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable (toast, nuggets, and hotdogs), and while the price might be expected for Niseko, it felt high for what we received. Overall, the stay was fine for a single night, but we wouldn’t book again."

"This is the perfect little single room efficiency with kitchenette and full bath. It’s small but would be perfect for a single or couple who rented a car or otherwise has transportation and wants to experience Niseko. There no much in walking distance but a whole lot in a few miles drive. "
