"We and a group of friends enjoyed a one night stay at the Feathers in February 2025. We occupied room 216 which overlooks the high st. The room was on the small side but was comfortably furnished and the bathroom was a good size and had been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. "We had to change our booking - a long story but Sally at front desk was helpful in making sure everything was sorted. It's a shame we had to check out a day earlier than planned as our first night there was excellent - I slept brilliantly. If they could offer more dog friendly rooms, we could have stayed a second night. "

"We really appreciate our stay but there's no light on the entrance so we nearly missed it and the carpark was not treated against the ice enough. The carpark was treacherous both on arrival and in the morning. We were out there at 8am and 11am and it was not treated. I mentioned it to reception but saw no one go out and salt it. "
