"A very nice & convenient hotel for a weekend soaking up the atmosphere in Hay on Wye and browsing through the book shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were in Room 1 which is above the kitchen so noisy first thing in the morning. The signal for the TV was not reliable. However, these did not detract from our wonderful stay. "

The hot tub was an added bonus and main reason for booking this particular lodge, which meant we could truly relax and enjoy our stay at The Baiting House. "Beautiful location, clean and cosy cottage accommodation. The host Ruth was friendly and professional. Room was full of character, confortable bed, watm shower. Coffee bags and tea avaliable (biscuits would've been nice). Breakfast was excellent and made to order. Sharing the table with other guests could take some getting use to though, but i am an introvert. I look forward to staying again. "
