"We really appreciate our stay but there's no light on the entrance so we nearly missed it and the carpark was not treated against the ice enough. The carpark was treacherous both on arrival and in the morning. We were out there at 8am and 11am and it was not treated. I mentioned it to reception but saw no one go out and salt it. "

"The room was just as shown on the photos. I had seen some negative reviews so had some apprehension, but there were no problems on our visit. Comfortable beds, hot water, good heating, reasonable carpet; 24/7 Asda shop and other facilities at the service station. No fridge or cooking facilities, but I took a microwave and had no problems. Overall the property seems to have some maintenance issues with various buckets strategically placed to catch drips in the foyer and one corridor: but...

"Ideal hotel stay for Bromsgrove. Hotel had excellent facilities, was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed & plenty of space in the room. Great variety of breakfast foods. Highly recommend. "

"Having stayed at dozens of similar hotels across the EU & Switzerland. My main observation was it is DATED. No fridge in the room, no USB points, double bed was two together, yes tea & coffee, ironing board, safe; even a fan. Oh, it was cosy & warm in the room and bathroom. Decor was looking “old” but breakfast was top notch✅"

We would like to say a particularly big thank you to James who took care of us and our needs throughout our stay. "Friendly welcome and nice stay, only downside was the radiator not working in the room which made it a bit chilly - appreciated the portable heater in the room but could have done with a couple to get the temperature up, would definitely stay again."

"Christmas break to unwind and relax at this busy time and it was fantastic also sat looking at the moon outside in the jacuzzi which was extra special. The evening meal was delicious and couldn’t fault anything. A lovely breakfast the next day finishing off a perfect stay. Thank you all."

"Coralie was a great host. The building is lovely, great communal area and sociable kitchen space. Beds were very comfy. The oven is slower which wasn’t listed till we got a welcome pdf so Christmas was a lot slower- but certainly wouldn’t stop us going again. There were plenty of showers and loos. Coralie left a few decorations up which was appreciated .the house had everything we needed- an abundance of cookware/plates and mugs.. "

"We loved the cottage, right in the centre of historic Ludlow. It was clean. comfortable, quirky and had every amenity we could want and lots of extras. Quiet, yet close to shops. cafes. pubs, and a wonderful market. We enjoyed a Christmas day walk by the river."
