"A nice hotel centrally located making it perfect for a stay in southampton. The king room felt spacious and the bed was comfy. The gym had plenty to help me burn off a little bit of the breakfast buffet, which was fresh, tasty and gad plenty of variety. The Pool was nice and warm. Would stay here again"

"Always nice at Village Hotels. This was a disabled room, I was fine with that as it was a very nice clean room, however, the furnishing were so spartan, there wasn’t anywhere to put my case or anywhere for my wash bag in the bathroom. The gym on the 1st floor was clearly heard on the 2nd floor."

"Very friendly, willing to please staff. Superb breakfast even during renovations. Great location for city centre, eating out and for the port. A pity the significant renovations were not mentioned prior to arrival. Refurbished room almost perfect. Big beds, large window, excellent smart TV, tea, coffee, fridge, water and best of all the toiletries. However, the wardrobe is far too small and there was no thought given to space for hanging up a hand towel and two bath towels."

The breakfast room is nice but there were some issues with replenishment of items in busy times. On check out there were some confusions about what had already been paid for via Expedia. "The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. But our family room was over the laundry and at 6am they were draging metal trolleys in and out. Ans with a toddler this woke her after a late night traveling. The bathroom was dirty, The toilet had marks in it and there was thick dust behind the sink and sticky drip stains on the batbroom floor. Other than this the stay was nice. Breakfast was lovely. The pool and saunas were out of use which was disappointing. "
