"We really liked the refurbished superior room we stayed in - the bathroom was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and the room was furnished in a modern classic style. The television was a good size and the room looked out at a pretty courtyard garden. The downsides of the hotel would be the exterior and some of the communal areas are looking a bit dated and tired. Also, even though Queenstown’s retail area is definitely a walkable distance, there is quite a steep hill to contend with on...

"Perfect place to stay prior to the Milford Track or other hiking....while also great for non-hikers! Located just on edge of "downtown" area. Loved it here! Planning to stay again next year!!! I stayed over Christmas and the staff left stockings on our door with little gifts...so thoughtful. :o) "

"Property was clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was good but there are better options around town. If we were to visit Queenstown again it would definitely be one of our options as its location is perfect for access to the town."

"We stayed at the 2 bedroom Paradise unit with a lake view which was fantastic. The rooms were rustic chic and the overall vibe was excellent. Things that bothered me a little bit-Parking was hit or miss and sometimes you had to park far away. Some of the basic toiletries had to be requested for (you have to go and get them). I get the eco friendly part but for pete's sake put a latch in the toilet door when you rent out 2 or 3 bedroom units. I spent three nights there."

"Great location, within walking distance to everything yet away from the noisy parts of town. The balcony was a good size, and the kitchen, while small, was adequately equipped. The toilet and bathroom were very clean. However, the bedroom felt dark and dingy. We understand it’s not a serviced property, but for a five-night stay, it would have been nice to receive a couple more rolls of toilet paper and additional bin liners"

"Parking was a night mare. It is additional $20/night..all internal roads are narrow and sloped and curvy. Breakfast options were plenty and they changed the some items the next day. Rooms are near but small. My main issue was power outlets was only available on one side of the beds. No way to connect to a power outlet if you are on the other queen bed. It have been better if the outlets are in the middle."

"Absolutely beautiful little hotel within walking distance to restaurants and the water. Lovely staff and they even provided complimentary snacks and drinks (including a lolly bar!) and complimentary happy hour for all guests at 5pm each day. It’s little things like that that make it special and memorable. We’d happily stay here again. "
