"A great base for a weekend stay in Cirencester. The hotel is in the middle of town so a great location to explore the town & surrounding areas. The hotel is lovely & rooms well equipped & very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, a great selection of options on offer, everything was delicious. Would stay again if visiting this area. "

"Disappointing. We paid a little more than we usually pay for hotels because we wanted a two-night stay in a scenic area. The room choice specified GARDEN VIEW, but in fact was PARKING LOT VIEW. We asked reception about a garden view and were told “this is the room you booked.” Other than the fact we usually had our curtains closed so that we had some privacy, the room was fine. "

"An overnight return visit after 12 years. All staff served us well. Room was comfortable and clean. Room starting to look tired in places e.g. bathroom window difficult to open, screws to handle loose and missing. There is an annoying noise by the electric charger parking area, generator or the like. Would have been a pain if we were sitting outside. But didn't hear in room. Lovely well kept garden areas."

"Beautiful old inn located with easy access to the town's of the Cotswolds. The Inn had excellent amenities and great food in the pub and dining room."

"Only used the property for sleeping purposes as was out during the day and evening but it ticked all the boxes in that requirement. Expected to have a bath and fridge as brought food but that was probably due to the nature of the room I booked. It was a comfortable stay and staff were very friendly so no complaints. A bit pricy for the nature of the room so would look for a cheaper option next time but no complaints from me on this visit. "
