We had a lovely stay at The Ayrlington. Easy walk from the train station and to the shops and attractions of the city centre. Yummy breakfast and pretty gardens. Room was spacious and clean, and bed was super comfy.

Lovely period property and attractive garden. Bed was comfortable but bit of a shame about the uncomfortable pillows. Would be definitely worth investing in some new ones. We were greeted on our arrival and immediately offered help with parking and our bags. The young lady at reception made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room. The room was excellent, breakfast area and lounge also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend and we will use again.

From the outside, looks a little tired, but once you are in the rooms are large, clean, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and thoughtful. Little touches, like a handwritten personal card in the room, make you feel welcome. My only extra two wishes would be for a little more illumination near the window for the evening (a reading lamp, for instance) and there were effectively two dressing tables but not a proper desk and chair - which makes it quite hard to do any work. The location is excellent, and I shall definitely try to stay again when I next visit Bath.
