"Both the exterior and interior are absolutely beautiful. Staff are extremely warm and helpful. The food in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced for london; they were also accommodating for allergies. Despite it being so central, all we could hear overnight and in the morning was birdsong! The room seemed clean, apart from a very questionable patch of dried liquid on the chair, and some milk past its best in the fridge. Overall a lovely stay"

"2 guys on the reception were very friendly and we had a good laugh. Excellent value. Bang on Hyde Park and just a few minutes' walk to The Royal Albert Hall for my night out. Only problem was that I didn't know Hyde Park closes at night, and I had to walk around it to get home. I made up for my disappointment of having to walk further the night before, by shouting at a Snobby Sloane and her daughter, to pick up her dog's turd, whilst they were pretending not to notice it was having a plop, in...

"A great stay. Our room was in another building so had to go to main building for breakfast etc but no problem as weather was good. Our second bed (twin room booked) was a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable but we mentioned this to reception and they brought an extra mattress topper which made a huge difference. Great service"
