"Lovely room even though could do with updating but it suited my needs, comfy beds and crisp bedding just what I needed whilst my husband was in surgery at John Radcliffe, nice friendly staff too. Would definitely stay again."

"There was a very cosy feel to the hotel and the room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the pub on the first night and the meals were delicious. The room was fairly comfortable but it could do with some updating/replacing of items. The mattress was past it's best (resulting in an uncomfortable sleep on the first night) and the taps were loose, with drainage not working great. However we'd certainly return again."

"Our stay here was a last minute decision to take the stress out of a morning long haul flight and it was perfect. Booked on Christmas day and still received immediate and helpful responses from the owner. The room was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of off road parking. After we left the owned called to say that we had left a wallet in the room and he very kindly posted it to my home address. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use again when...

"Very clean, safe, 22 min walk to train station, easy check-in, they send you a one time code via e-mail, to enter and get your room key at the reception, easier check out, just to drop off the key in a box, mini fridge in room, private WC in room, shared shower, which I saw always available, cookies, 2 water bottles, liquid and mini bar hand soaps. "Clean, equipped with everything you need for a short stay and everything worked. However, it was noisy, at least the room faced towards the busy street. You could hear every single car through the closed window, someone's car alarm sounded in the middle of the night. Next time the house undergoes a refurbishment they ought to put another layer of windows at this room. "

"Its a bit run down but clean. Its in a house so could be noisy. Its conveniently located to the terminal. The check in experience should be improved as initially i felt it was a scam asking for payment i needed to confirm before making the payment ! An initial email with the dedicated number may help. "
