Only reason why it scored low on facilities was because of the planned refurbishment of the pool area, which we knew about after booking but didn’t put us off. Would definitely stay again and would look forward to seeing the refurbished pool area next time over a lovely place to stay"

"A bit disappointing. Room was too hot - someone had set the aircon to 28°! Also, I had checked online and it said that they had Sky Sports in the rooms. They don't. They wouldn't even put it on in the bar for me to watch the football 😭 Also, one usually gets tea, coffee and some biscuits in a hotel room. There was tea and coffee, but it was hidden away in the cupboard, so presumably was free. The only refreshments out in the open were the £1.50 bottles of water. I expect better for £120ish per...
