"This Hotel is excellent. It is modern clean and conveniently situated. The staff are exceptional. The receptionists, Elaine and Katerina are welcoming and do everything possible to be helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We had a superb buffet breakfast and were greeted warmly by Petro or Agiara every day. The room 301 was a spacious city facing with every possible facility and the view from the enormous balcony included the distant mountains. We spent three comfortable nights close to a small sandy beach from which local people swam even in January! The walk along the sea front to the Venetian harbour took twenty five minutes. There are cafes and restaurants within easy reach. We cannot rcommend the Hyperion too highly."

"My room had a beautiful view of the Ocean and the light house. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Venetian harbor is at a short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet area. Breakfast was one of the best of our trip. Overall and excellent hotel"

"We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is perfect in Old town Chania. We had a beautiful view of the lighthouse from our room. It is on the end away from most of the noise. The room (4), building, were beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, service was great. We also enjoyed a glass of wine at night too. Ava was delightful and so welcoming!!!! If you are okay with stairs you have to stay here. Remember its a 500 plus year old building. Its not perfect and not American ADA compliant."
