"Ive stayed at Melia hotels in Liverpool and Newcastle and both are really nice. I had Ceasar Salad as room service and it was excellent. Nice to get comp drinks in the fridge as well. This time however the room was dirty. There was a lot of dust in the wadrobe area, and my white socks were black after walking around the room for an evening. There was also a damp smell coming from the bathroom which joins onto the main room. The rooms are nice thogh, and a large dest to work from, the bed...

"Lovely hotel - staff were so friendly and helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The room was very comfortable and we had a great view of the river.
