"The views were spectacular. The service was excellent. The room was spotless and beautiful. I have 2 suggestions. Add two hooks to one of the walls in the bathroom. There is no place to hand towels once used. Also, add a shelf under the sink area to place other toiletries."

"We didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am and whoever was at the desk was so helpful. There isn’t an elevator so they helped us with bags while we carried our sleeping kids. The hotel was quiet and beautiful- the breakfast delicious- service was beyond- would absolutely recommend for nice retreat! "

"The hotel is across from a supermarket but there aren’t any restaurants within easy walking distance, and walking after dark did not feel like the right thing to do, so I ended up eating at the hotel restaurant, which was okay. Just okay. Hot water seemed to take a long time to get to the 2nd floor. The room had a coffee maker, but with porcelain cups, which made me wonder if they were dishwasher clean, or washed in the room with my towels. Ditto the drinking glasses. No refrigerator....

"Loved the warm welcome drink and hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and our room was over the top with all natural wood and stone decor. Our surname posted on the front door was a nice personalized touch! We loved the balcony hammock and jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and bathroom waterfall! Access to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for a huge aviary, exotic wildlife and gorgeous waterfalls. The property is terraced on a hill so lots of stairs."

"This will be my new "go to" when I'm in the area. It's a 10 minute drive to Santa Ana but nestled in the mountains below a coffee farm. It's super quiet, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The price is right and could not have asked for a better stay! It would be 10 stars if that was an option : )"

"Hillside property with beautiful grounds, swimming pool and views of mountains, valleys, and the quaint town of Atenas. Our bungalow was quite nice and comfortable. Our host, Alejandro is wonderful, informative and speaks many different languages. Breakfast is not included but there are many dining options in town. "

"We stayed in the Rosa Blanca room. We loved the view and the beautiful art work on the walls in the bathroom. The circular stair case was unique and the 270 degree view of San Jose was great. We thought the staff was friendly, Carlos at the front desk helped us with many arrangments. The wait staff in the restaurant gave us excellent service."
