"Sophisticated hotel with a nice mixture of contemporary and modern features located a short distance from the city walls and train station. Upon entry the reception, lobby, dining and bar areas are impressive displaying hardwood panelled walls, stained glass windows and various antiques. We never got to dine there but did use the bar a few times and the service was very good. "Had a lovely mini break at this hotel. Very clean and in an ideal location for walking to the city centre. Enjoyed our stay and parked locally. I am returning soon with my mum. One star chalked off as I expected our room to be cleaned and made up. One of the sheets had seen better days, had a tear in it. I won't be using the bar again, far too expensive! Those was my only grumbles but not put me off my return stay."
