"The stay was great, staff are excellent. The room was lovely and clean, slight down was the walls were marked but everything that could be cleaned was spotless. I marked down as on our last morning there was no hot water, this was due to their boiler breaking down so not a fault of the hotel, the reception apologised and said that we were welcome to use the showers in the spa! But unfortunately it was freezing outside and it's a bit of a walk to the spa so a cold wash had to do!! Will stay there...

"Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. "Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "
