"Great place"

"The room was functionally comfortable. The air conditioning was not working so had to utilise the provided portable radiator to provide needed heat. The most frustrating part of the whole stay is the QRCode. Great idea in theory, as it saves printing all the hotel guides and menus. In practice all the links produced 'bad gateway' or 'access denied' messages. 🙄😞😠 All credit to James for managing a recalcitrant kitchen who didn’t want to take any more orders as they felt rushed. "

"Friendly staff"

"Our experience and stay was very good, however the breakfast was a shambles! No cutlery, no food, tables full of dirty plates and staff stood around chatting. No baked beans, handheld browns, croissants no glasses for the juice. The food was fine if you could get any. Some users walking around in PJs and bare feet all by the food, I actually think when seating people would staff not say that footwear is needed, I don’t want to eat breakfast looking at some ones filthy feet"

"The staff were phenomenal, Rachel, I believe her name was, was so welcoming the night we got there, so chatty and friendly, she made it seem like a home away from home, especially since we were so far away from home. The room was beautiful and so clean, I could’ve just lived in there forever, and the breakfast staff the morning after were so unbelievably kind, made sure we were well attended to, we definitely will be back next time we’re down there. "Very impressed and satisfied with stay - building has a lot of character, service has been fine for whole of stay, decently positioned to get around the city. For a budget stay, I would absolutely recommend this spot, and hope to use them again. "
