"Hotel was very clean, not a lot of character but was very close to the shambles and everything we wanted to visit. Breakfast was good, nothing special but fully stocked and a good selecrion. Beds a little firm and low for us but great that the twin room was two queen sized beds. "

"Lovely choice of breakfast, and staff were very friendly. Lovely big room, though a little tired in places, but very clean, and bed was really comfortable. They need to get rid of awful yellow paint on walls, in bedroom and walls leading to bedroom. Thought the ten pound charge for parking was a little steep. But nice place to stay."

"We stayed for 2 nights the staff were great always happy and polite, a man called chris was very helpful when we wanted to go onto york centre he ordered us a taxi and gave us a card of the firm they use which was way cheaper than a uber,the room was clean,tidy and warm for us which was a nice welcoming on a cold day i would definitely recommend for a stay"
