"Close to the lake, Eat Street and could use the Novotel pools! We walked up to Eat Street multiple times. Walked to the Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa. Had a lake view from our room and staff were lovely, always said hi and asked how our stay was, that was great! It’s a little dated and the bathrooms could use a refresh but it was great for the 2 nights we stayed. It also has free parking and free laundry machines on site. That gave us a chance to wash everything before we headed on. Breakfast...

"This was the first time staying in the motel units (normally stay in the older multi bedroom units) and were reasonably happy with the room. Good size, good layout, quiet and warm however more could be done to up-keep these. We noticed many of the window latches were broken, couple lights not working, shower drain broken. Not the end of the world but they are such good units, it seems a shame to see them getting 'worn out' so fast. This same level of up keep seems to stem through to the games...

"I had a great stay here! I love that there are sloped ramps instead of stairs up. There were 3 bunks in my room and 2 single twin beds! I enjoyed a night of not having anyone above or close to me! Staff was super friendly. Lots of supplies in the kitchen for cooking. Walking distance to the Polynesian Spa. Overall loved my stay here!!"

We had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. A little kitchen was useful. The big and a beautiful bathroom was a surprise. Thanks Rotorua for my special birthday!"
