"Stayed here in May on a Thursday night. Booked a room in the main hotel, after seeing reviews that some people ended up in a different building. There was a bit of faff about parking (not enough spaces for all the guests, so I had to be blocked in) but aside from that I thought it was a great room for a low price. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with modern fittings. It was quiet and had a great night's sleep! Definitely exceeded my expectations."

"We stayed for two nights and the hotel is lovely, very central and easy to access - noise on a Friday/Saturday night was negligible, definitely not as bad as you would expect for how central it is. Service was good and the bed was very comfortable. Only downside was the air-conditioning not working very well - it was ok as we could open the window but was not as cool as you would like it for a summer weekend. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would recommend for a city visit."

"Honestly such a great stay and very welcoming to our dog! It was our first time staying away with her and they provided a dog bed and treats for her stay along with bowls for food and water. She also got a sausage for breakfast. We would definitely stay again. Premises was very clean and well kept, the only things that could be improved were very minor and easy to fix such as the sealant in the shower, and kettle in the room was old and slow but everything else was great. Breakfast was great...

"Reception was good if a little slow to get us signed in. We were at a family wedding which we knew would mean getting back late so looking for bed & breakfast only. Hotel matched our needs. Only issue was the bathroom smelt of cat wee. Since we didn't get back till late no one on reception to sort it out. Pity as I would have given the hotel a higher score. "

"Friendly receptionist on checking in. Room wasn’t quite ready when I checked in but true to his word he found me in the restaurant as soon as it was ready. Good sized room and comfortable bed. No AC so even with windows open it was a scorcher. Slightly dated interiors but otherwise enjoyable stay. "
