"The food in their restaurant was less to be desired. Their private island was closed and as a guest of the hotel we are charged a fee upon checkin which is an additional fee to the reservations for items related to visiting the private island I.e., beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boat taxi service to and from the island. We were charged the full price even though the hotel had closed the island."

"If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas...

"This is a place to put your head down and that's about it. Small cottage that has many miles on it. Beds and bedding were old and uncomfortable. Blanket consisted of a sleeping bag. Showers backed up into the tub. Air conditioner leaked onto the living room floor. It rained hard while we were there. had some time where we could not go anywhere. TV is broken. "Stayed in a cottage on Stocking Island; very peaceful and the beach is beautiful. Poor communication with loss of power one night and both emergency numbers were not answered. Quite concerning. Took a couple days to get our stove working. "

"Overall the place was fine. Everything worked as it should. We normally stay waterfront but opted for a small kitchen area and ended up here. It is on the opposite side of the road from the water. Exuma is beautiful but if you’re looking for a lot of activities, this is not the place. If your looking for beautiful beaches and white sand, this is the place to come."

"The property is very well situated with an elevated position which gives you a sea view. It is quite a distance from Georgetown and you do need transport. Fanny's Bar is within walking distance but that is it. It is very well equipped, the only thing missing was a sponge to do the washing up. Some of the furniture is damaged - sofa torn and rattan chairs but this didn't detract from the amazing open space around the living room. It is a very spacious house and ideal for the children in the event...

"This place has seen better days. Carpeting appears to be at least 20 years old. It's been a while since I stayed at a place that did not have a coffee pot in the room nor coffee available on the property by 7:00 am. The staff was nice and friendly which was the only save."
