"We flew into BZE and drove to Placencia/Maya Beach. We were greeted at Azure Del Mar with a welcome drink and our names on the sign! What a greeting after a long travel day and drive! Dinner was lovely, we got some great recommendations from the staff, and work up to the beautiful peaceful ocean, breakfast, paddleboarding, oat milk lattes (hot or iced!). "Only one night for us, but enjoyed the resort. We arrived 2.5 hours before check in, but they provided us complimentary drinks so we went to the restaurant/bar and met King, the bartender. "Our stay at Maya Beach Hotel was fantastic. The staff were wonderful. They were exceptionaly friendly, responsive, and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. "This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. "I loved my stay here! The staff were incredible-- they were super helpful before and during my stay. Being in front of the beach was so lovely. It is worth the upgrade for the ocean-front room.
