One of the highlights for us was being just a short 10-minute drive from the best birria tacos we’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Beef Masters Pasture-Raised Farm has a food truck that is a must-visit; their tacos are absolutely incredible.What really made this experience stand out, though, were the people. The locals welcomed us with open arms and genuine warmth, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s hard to overstate how special it is to feel so embraced by a community while traveling.If you’re looking for a simple, authentic, and wonderfully located spot to stay in Hopkins, the Baby Blue Cabana is the perfect choice. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a gateway to incredible food, a vibrant atmosphere, and unforgettable memories."

"My second stay at this small family run hotel. Beautiful, relaxing ocean view. Felt really accomodated by the owner. Fridge died and got another one in right away. Would book it anytime again. "

"Shelley and Lesta are fabulous and work diligently to meet all needs. Very well stocked property. Beautiful bedrooms for all occupants. Walkable to multiple restaurants. With bad weather, pool heater not working was a disappointment. Areas of improvement are need for a good grill; beach chairs for all occupants;beach toys, a kayak and a fully functional paddle board."

"This place was just what we wanted. It was a great location, the host was quite helpful, the security was solid, and the price was right. There were a few extra amenities that helped (a cooler, an ice maker). Note that it is small for 4 people, but we knew this going on so was not a surprise. Our only suggestion is to replace the light bulbs with much stronger wattage as it is quite dim in the place once it gets dark outside."
