"I should have checked first if there were lifts, unfortunately none, we were on second floor we both have poor mobility it was a struggle but a member of staff did help with suitcase. We also assumed we could get dinner but wrong again, they only do breakfast which was not great. At least there are many restaurants nearby. We found a lovely Italian one. The room was very good, but crumbs on floor at my bedside, not amused. We wouldn't go back."

"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. "This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?!
