"location was perfect for the event we were going to and had lots to offer in terms of supermarkets and restaurants. also the coffee from the bar in reception is really nice. hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful if needed. so much space in the room. bathroom was great. the only thing was the temperature control in the main room wouldn't go up so was slightly chilly."

"We had a family suite which was nice for 4 adults. The proximity to transportation was excellent. The train is just a 5 min walk. And there is a grocery store very close by. I would recommend this hotel but the only downside was the bed and pillows are not comfortable at all. "

"Our checkin was super easy… we arrived earlier than planned, but within 20min, they had a room ready. The front desk girl was extremely helpful in reserving a taxi for the next morning and in helping us with our map! Great experience and we would stay there again!"

"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."
