We happened to be there one day that the weather was horrible - cold, rain and VERY high winds,,,a perfect crash day for us to stay inside and rest. Comfy beds. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"What a wonderful apartment! Central location with easy access to shops and restaurants as well as easy access to the Floriade. Apartment was clean and well equipped with linens, soaps, and kitchen supplies. Amsterdam and the airport are but a short train ride away. Paul was a great host, even taking us for a tour of Almere’s canals. Check in and out was a breeze. We highly recommend this apartment to others."
