It is a quiet area that provided a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Central station is less than a 10 minute ride from Amstel Station, which is right next to the hotel. Canal view rooms are pricier and breakfast comes with a surcharge. Nothing exceptional about front desk. It would have been nice if there was a coffeemaker in the room. "
