"We had a lovely stay. Very helpful staff. The reception team helped book a last minute guided walk in Monteverder NP. Bar staff were very friendly, even gave us some traditional Costa Rican cooking tips! Big room with a lovely view, when the weather allowed. "We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cerró Lodge. The staff were amazing and made sure that we enjoyed our time. They booked us on a bird and crocodile tour on the Rio Tárcoles that I would certainly recommend. The pizza we had for dinner was delicious. Rooms very clean and comfortable. "The property is nice, kept neat and clean. We were there in the off season so it was very quiet. Remember there is no ac in this area of Costa Rica. They do not offer cots in the rooms so if you are traveling as a family this could be an issue. Otherwise the breakfast was wonderful, the jacuzi was covered so you can use even in the rain."
