"The hotel is showing its age. The beds were rock hard. The room and bathroom were clean but had some visible damage. No AC or television in room. Staff were civil to guests. Guest parking is awkward but secure. The overall neighborhood is rather creepy. "

"Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "Extremely disappointed with this property. Have been using Expedia for a long time and the first time i experienced a below par status hotel. Would not recommend this next step up from a hostel, and i had ugraded to the honeymoon suite when booking this property. First time ever I asked to see the room before payment was made at checkin. Several first for me on the Expedia booking site."
