"We had a great stay here. We were at the top in a huge room with a large walk-in shower. It was clean and comfy, and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. There's a games room in the basement with sofas, a pool table and table football, and it was nice to socialise with other guests for a bit. It's well situated for the Wishtower part of the seafront and we had great views from our room."

"The room i was initially booked into had not been cleaned when i arrived. I reported this and was met with excellent service and my room was upgraded at once to compensate. The hotel is well situated with best view of the sea ive experienced in all the hotels ive stayed at in Eastbourn. Standards were good for the price. Not really luxury but perfectly ok."

"Large room with lot of storage for clothing. Room was warm. Bed comfortable and slept well. Bathroom clean and shower good. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Hotel decor was tired but added to the charm, Definitely would return "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful with one exception, when I went for breakfast I had to ask if the server was going to take my order, as she had taken the two tables that came in after me and was about to go back to the kitchen. The only downside was the shower, I was in room 6 and didn't want to use the shower as it was in quite a bad condition and didn't look very clean."

"Very pleasant welcome from the staff as we arrived with quick checkin and everything ready for us to checkin. The room is a decent size and clean, generally comfortable. As it’s an older property you can hear creaking from other rooms but not too bad, needs a little bit of tlc around but again overall pretty good. Bar onsite with decent pricing. Breakfast also a good selection with friendly staff. Overall we would recommend this hotel"
