"For the price we paid we didn't expect much to be honest. And at around £77 per night for a room with sea views we got an ok shower (warm water, poor water pressure) a large bed (mattress has seen a few years) and sparse furniture which suited us fine. It was very windy which meant we had quite the draft from the single pane windows however there wasn't a lot of traffic coming through. Service was ok, not friendly, not unfriendly. Breakfast simple, coffee overpriced. "

"Great hotel in new romney perfect base to get around my room was perfect comfortable bed tea and coffee and a bottle of water waiting for me in my room lovely and warm specially with it being cold outside shower was great and the tv reception was amazing with everything you would want to watch tne pub was great also with a friendly atmosphere the breakfast was brilliant all cooked perfectly by pete the manager i will definitely be staying again so if anyone is looking to stay in the area then...

"Fabulous place to stay really friendly staff. Excellent location close to the venue we were going to. Room was lovely nice and clean, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic, excellent menu choices. Great vegetarian option and really tasty. Pub attached to the hotel was great , i would definitely stay at this hotel again. "

"I was on a short break away, walking in the area out of season in winter. I arrived at the hotel weary, and was greeted by staff with a really warm welcome. I sat down in the beatiful lobby area next to a roaring fire, with a drink before checking in. The room was beatifully decorated with Thai style furniture and pictures, but was full of house period features & a modern bathroom room with roomy shower. Comfy bed, tasty food for breakfast. "Stayed in the Heather room, beautiful old features, very comfortable. Spa bath switch jammed 'on' so had to be controlled by pull cord by door and plug leaked, couldn't relax in it as jets set to full power and on all the time. Food, bar and service were a great, very warm and friendly. Would recommend the venue.. But not that room."
