"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "Lovely bedroom, nearly refurbished, plenty of space with a seating area. Good spa - with hot sauna and steam room - great to relax in the early evening. Easy 15-20 minute walk into town, or choice of restaurant or snacks in the bar. A really relaxed environment with friendly staff."

"Good facilities with a pool and spa facilities to use (extra cost) however, it was very busy. The room was comfortable and clean, but lighting was poor for business travel. A desk light is needed. The food was good equality and bar / breakfast staff friendly. Reception less friendly and my room was accessible, which was not what I booked. Good location for work travel. "

"Checked in after looking for another hotel after leaving the hotel I had originally booked. This hotel was warm and comforting, the check in was a total breeze. Friendly welcoming staff. Rooms were large and comfortable. Bar and other communal areas were clean and very cosy, loved the cosy nook with open fire effect fire. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area."

"It's a large hotel, totally cashless from check-in to the bar, no cash accepted anywhere. Made a mistake with my room allocation but quickly resolved by Dave on reception who was doing the job of two people. Decor could be better and the rooms but for what I paid it was outstanding. £5 to park your vehicle overnight but overall very good. The view over the sea in the morning was very welcome."

"Very nice hotel. The room was very quiet and well appointed. We were going through the channel tunnel early the next morning and the hotel is really close to the terminal. Excellent!"

"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms...
