"Welcoming, friendly, efficient staff. Fabulous lunch on arrival in the new restaurant. Lovely bedroom, slept really well. Big bathroom. The room was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty. We really loved this hotel which is convenient for the town centre and the nearby theatre is only a ten minute walk. Wish everywhere we stayed was as good as this place. Well done everyone. "

"I always stay here when I visit family. I think it's under new management and there has been some upgrading in the rooms, I noticed new bed, kettle and toilet amongst others. The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. "

"We stayed on a Sunday night in a HUGE family room. Beautiful high ceilings and a stunning stained glass window in an old building. The room was clean and had complimentary tea/coffee/milk etc and bottled water. The small bathroom was functional and clean and met all of our needs. The beds were comfy and we all slept very well. The staff were friendly and welcoming. No hot food was served but the staff had lovely recommendations for food nearby. There was no breakfast but we found a nice cafe...

"An elderly property essentially on the esplanade. Of course that means no lift making it inaccessible for some. On the other hand the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was good and the price was incredibly low. This might have been because I visited "off season" but it was certainly about half the cost of any other lodging I used during a two-week trip across the south coast. I'd definitely go back again."

"Very comfortable log cabin, excellent supplies of both toiletries and breakfast goods. perfectly clean, good hot shower, set for right temperature, hurrah! Only problem was lack of WiFi. Although password given, there was no wifi to log in to."

"We had a 2 night stay in the Four Poster Room. The room was lovely and spacious with the bathroom upstairs. All the staff we came across were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were given the option to put any food and drink purchased at the bar and restaurant and pay for everything at the end of our stay. We will definitely stay again."

"Bathroom shower tiles could do with more attention to cleaning. Otherwise, pleasant stay and welcoming staff and owners. The room we stayed in was at the back of the property and and you could hear downstairs occupants early early AM which did disturb our sleep. However, the B&B was a pleasent stay Its located within a 20 min walk to the Old Town and central shopping areas. 5 mins walk from the pier. Local.corner shops too. "

"I had a lovely spacious room and great en-suite shower room. It had everything you could want, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. A fridge with chilled water and fresh milk. Also a comfortable guest lounge with extra refreshments available. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. "

"The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. "Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "

Great hotel

"Booked this hotel a the very last minute as the one we were due to stay in had a gas leak. Room was comfy with plenty of storage space. The bed was big. I’m quite fussy when it comes to pillows so it wasn’t the best for me but others may like it. Breakfast was very nice and a wide selection to choose from. The bar area was nice and modern and all the staff were very friendly. I would happily stay there again. "

A good overnight stop

"We arrived very late, but still the service was friendly, fast and efficient. Plenty of parking and the area was very quiet, it felt safe leaving a car there. Breakfast was good and well staffed. Plenty of choice, all fresh. Nice and clean dining area. It wasn't far to the Channel Tunnel either, so overall quite convenient. We'll certainly be back."
