"When you walk in to the hotel, it is not very impressive. There is a small sitting area with a TV and a fake fireplace, and a check in desk. I believe there is the subway to the Mayo Clinic available, we just crossed the street because the hotel is so close. The latest one can stay without paying for another night is 1pm, check out is 12 The reason I gave the hotel a five is because of the room. "I’ve stayed here tens of times. It’s convenient to Mayo if you want to walk the six blocks. If not, the courtesy shuttle makes the rounds about every ten minutes. So necessary in bad weather. The restaurant, Twigs, is always good. I had a 4 pm appointment, and they let me stay til 2 pm so I could nap for the long drive home. That in itself is worth staying for. Also just blocks from huge nice park for walking, or take a walk up Pill Hill to enjoy the fabulous old homes and gardens. "
