"My partner and myself had a lovely stay. The staff are very friendly , polite and professional , with nothing being too much trouble. The venue itself is on a hill with lovely view of the surrounding fields. It has a olde worlde feel with beautiful oak beams as part of its pub features and brass adornments on the wall. "When I arrived the signs through the front door was confusing. I just found my way through to the bar where I spoke to the lovely staff behind the bar. Staff were really nice. Was shown to my room. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Carpet and bathroom floor was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tea and coffee was a welcome addition. Had to move the kettle to boil it though as it didn’t reach the plug. Bathroom could do with some TLC. Just looks a bit grimy. One of the...
