"Location is excellent. Stay...clean bed linen, shower was a tricle so must need shower head replacing?...used milk capsule in jar..other than that an OK stay...service staff were excellent. Breakfast very average...but plenty.."

"Good stay for overnight required for work, if I could wish for a highway/motorway hotel to be like then this would be perfect for that little quick stop over to rest and continue your journey."

"Staff are very helpful, the bar is there bt very limited. No Rose wine, then no Coke Cola for the Vodka we opted for. The breakfast is plenty and done very well, however as for the bar Menu I think there was about 3 things on the menu. The saving grace there is a Pub (beefeater or similar) literally 100mtrs away and the food, bar, stock, and atmosphere were a saviour. Nice eniugh to stay in but with Premier Inn across the way with a bar and full menu I think we would opt for that."

"The staffs were very nice and accomodating. Breakfast was surprisingly good with many menus to choose from (buffet style). The property is outdated (the smell reminded me of my grandma's house- definitely not a bad smell, but an "old" smell) except for the ground floor which seems to have been recently renovated. Walkable distance to the city center, though some may say it's slightly far away (10 minutes). For the price I paid, it was good value. "

"A friend and I had a lovely stay at this Westcliff Hotel having enjoyed an evening at the theatre nearby. Room had a sea view, twin beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, bar service was good, staff lovely and friendly. Bedding and towels were clean, toiletries were provided, walk in shower nice and hot. Sadly though like a lot of our seaside hotels, it is very 'tired' and needs some refurbishment. Have stayed here before and would stay again - will remember my plug for charger next time as...

"Check-in was fine, but the parking situation is horrid! The hotel is a beautiful old seafront hotel which has been nicely updated. The dinner in the dining room was delicious as was the breakfast buffet. My room was well appointed and had all the luxuries that one would want. They did not have a conversion plug for an American iPhone, but the lady in reception was kind enough to charge my phone for me whilst I ate. Another nice feature was my petite balcony.but sadly, all paled to the lack of...

"Newly decorated room so pristine. Mattress coukd be better as a topper isn't the answer to everything especially on a soft mattress. The bath was big enough for me to gain my 25m breast stroke badge!"
