"Hotel is lovely, great location close to the Old Course and walking distance to everything in St. Andrews. Our rooms were very nice and large and very comfortable. Please note there are stairs to pretty much all the rooms as well as to reception. Breakfast was good, nothing special but fresh and tasty. Service was excellent, everyone was super friendly and had a smile on their face. "

Imaginative use of awkward shape building with lights and mirrors etc. Only quibble awkward shower entry exit if mobility probs but forewarned.Lounge dining area mid refurb so not in use but forewarned.I shall return if in area again,.Good base for business or sightseeing."

"The food in the restaurant was superb and had a wide variety of choices that worked for us (vegetarian). The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Staff was friendly. We had a room that had a private bathroom (not en-suite) that needed a bit of work. Only down-side was there were no towels when we arrived. We asked, but none appeared. Evening staff was very busy in the bar that was packed and I think they were short staffed, so somewhat understandable."
