"Very easy to check-in. Hotel well placed for the main north/south route. Handy for a short walk into the town. Although next to ASDA , the area was relatively quiet. Restaurant attached offers a good menu, including a choice for breakfast. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. "

"Cannot fault this hotel. From check in to check out all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"

"The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to."

"No 12 is a good choice for a short stay in attractive North Berwick. It’s centrally located, convenient for beaches, the Seabird centre etc . Service is functional more than polished. My single room serviceable not elegant. Breakfast, included, sets you up for the day."
