"We booked Sunday and Monday night for a relaxing stay. We should have done our homework beforehand as we had never stayed in a hotel that closed its restaurant on those evenings. Breakfast was very nice, however you have to help yourself to everything - hot drinks, cold buffet, cook your own toast, hot breakfast. Staff were on hand to assist, stock up and clear tables. We found it all very DIY, so if you want a relaxing stay and to be waited on hand and foot, this place is NOT for you. Daily...

"Very shabby, in need of complete refurbishment. The room was very large, had a sofa, a table and 2 chairs coffee table,3 small bedside units, a unit with tea/ coffee makings, a dressing table and chair and a wardrobe. Sadly, all very dated and the sofa was past its best. It was such a pity it was so shabby as it could be a super hotel and the staff were very helpful and pleasant, many thanks to them. "

"This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it never disappoints. I attended an event this time and everything was perfect. From the atmosphere to the food all amazing. Staff were lovely, shout out the Rebekah who organised the event, she was amazing. The hotel room is spacious and has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and makes it hard to leave. Will definitely stay again. "

"The team were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Lets be honest it's £50 so your not getting chocolates and a turn down service. That said the team were great can't do enough for you."
