"Nice place by a little lake. Old but felt clean. Weird policy of not bringing any outside food or drink to the terrace but otherwise a good value. It says airconditioning but there was none. It was cool and had an openable balcony door. Also be careful. The lakeside terrace apparently close at 11. The door locks from the inside and if you are not niticed you might be spending the night iut there Pss. Also the parking spaces are unreasonably narrow"

Only complaint is the electrical equipment in room is out of date for PAT testing( I'm a health and safety officer so notice these things) and the food in restaurant, mainly breakfast could be improved as it was cold... Might be better to let guests order as they come in than the buffer style"

"The hotel is like a tardis. When you first see it from the front it looks like a nice decent sized pub. Then the accommodation area extends quite some way off the back, which was a surprise. Once you walk away from the bar into the accommodation area, that's where the issues start.
