"A lovely place to stay with a young family"

"We were looking for a place to stay for a 3 night break in the South Downs and were so lucky to find this gemThe Hay Barn is situated well in Upper Farringdon, set in the grounds of the owners family home. First impressions were great the property was clean and very well appointed, a gift hamper containing fresh baked bread, biscuits, beer and other goodies was a welcome treat. "Lovely home, lots of space and the backyard is very quaint. My friends and I rented this for an event happening in the area locally and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the location and overall home was. It all felt very new. My only recommendation would be to make sure if you’re from outside UK to be sure to bring your own converter adapters and note that there’s no floor length mirror (we had events to dress up for). The property manager was very quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay....

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

There were downstairs bedrooms for grandparents, an excellent games room for the children and adults, an extra long dining table so we could all eat together an lovely garden. It was very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Location was good, very close to supermarkets and walking distance to harbour. Parking for 4 cars. We had good communication and were clear of the process. We were met by Steve at the property who showed us...
